The Cars In “Need For Speed”, We All Wish To Have

It's possible to play Need for Speed as long as you didn't grow up under a rock. This is a large and well-known franchise that has released many games since 1994. The most recent addition was released in November 2020. The developers of Burnout back in the 90s, Criterion are currently developing the game. It was popular for its exciting missions that involved speed-racing on streets. It was even featured on Breaking Bad's 2014 big screen.

We often think back to the cars we drove in these games, despite their commercial success. Nothing was more satisfying than winning the car of your boss. It's still a memory that I eventually won the Audi Le Mans Quattro on Need For Speed Carbon. You can read the article to go down memory lane and see the cars that you wish you had.

Audi Le Mans Quattro

Ok, so we are a little obsessed with this car. It has been named twice before. The car was stunning though. The Audi Le Mans Quattro appears only in Carbon, a game that is part of the franchise. It's an early version the Audi R8, released a few years later. It is driven by Darius, the boss. It has great acceleration and handling, and can reach the highest speeds. It was beautiful, and the attractive red paint job made it a dream car.

Mazda RX-7

The Mazda RX-7, a rotary engine-powered sports car, was very successful during its lifetime. From 1992 to 1995, the series 6 version was the most popular, particularly in Germany, where import restrictions made it impossible for later versions of the car to be imported. It is featured in more than ten Need For Speed games. This makes it very popular among fans. Its popularity in pop culture surely contributed to its real-life sales. It was very popular because of its low weight, excellent handling and ability reach top speeds.

Chevrolet Camaro Z/28

This track-oriented Camaro was a fifth generation Camaro. It was very popular in the Need For Speed franchise. The car was capable of going from 0-60 mph in just 4.03 seconds in Need For Speed 2015. This was reduced to 2.39 seconds when the car was upgraded. This car is fast, to be sure! This American Muscle car has been a huge hit in the past.

Aston Martin Vulcan

The Aston Martin-produced high-performance track car is still being made today. It was first released in 2015 in the United Kingdom. It can reach speeds of 224 mph and has been featured in three different Need for Speed games. The Vulcan, named after the Roman god of fire, is a good car and a great car to drive in the Need for Speed games.

SRT Viper GTS

The American car was produced by SRT from 2012 to 2017. This beauty was the successor of the Dodge Viper with a top speed at 208 mph. Its lightweight and rear-wheel drive helped to make it so popular. The model was not well-received and the name was changed to Dodge Viper in 2014 in an attempt to save the series. After failing to meet all safety standards, the model was eventually stopped from production in 2017. However, the car was featured in several Need For Speed games, including the 2012 game Need For Speed: Most Wanted. It was faster than other muscle cars when it came to acceleration and more useful than others like the Ford Mustang Boss 302, due to its easier steering.

Koenigsegg Regera

Only 80 units of this Swedish hybrid car were made and its value is $1.9million. It can go from 0-60mph in just 2.8 seconds, and its top speed is a staggering 255mph. It is beautiful and featured in three Need For Speed games. It is a luxury option to mega-cars. It has a twin-turbocharged Hybrid V8 5L engine and three electric motors. It's also known for its weight, which allows it to reach high speeds. An Amazing car.
